Just to answer a few questions:
No, the project isn’t dropped; I’m going to do everything I can to get it done by next week. I have a new visa, so I’m not getting deported or anything, but I still don’t have a new apartment. Finding a place to live in Japan can be a bit of an ordeal, so I’m currently staying at a friend’s apartment until I find my own. Obviously, this has been impeding my attempts to work on the OVA. I’d like to apologize to those of you who posted irate comments about the delay. I’m extremely sorry that I’ve prioritized not being homeless over providing a free service for people I’ve never met. I promise it won’t happen again.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I work for HearJapan, a record label that deals exclusively in Japanese artists. If you like what Jisatsu has been doing, a great way to show your appreciation is to buy something from HearJapan. I highly recommend the new mini album from Tokyo Algorithm - I’ve had it on repeat for the past month.

Nice to see you got your visa. As for an apartment, I can’t think of nay place since I lice in the US.
Aside from the not being able to find an apartment glad to here that you were able to get your visa. Pay no mind to the impatient ones, life will always come before everything else. I’ve browsed through hearjapan and it looks really cool, its been a while since i bought something from japan, ill be sure to take your recommendation and try that mini album.

ok no problem. thanks so much for update, all i asked was that. good luck with finding apartment, i can imagine it being a pain in the arse in a place you don’t normally live. make sure you get your apartment as very important, i don;t mind waiting and everyone else shouldn;t either but all i do expect is updates if contiuning or dropping which is fair i think.
With some small japanese knowledge you can understand the entire ova… doesn’t take much i dont think, but then again i’ve been working with japanese language for 6 years very casually as a hobby, used to translate SNES Roms like der langrisser http://www.elsallia.com if you like SNES RPGs but best line in the OVA is Virgins, BANZAI! by Houin in the bar the expression on the guests faces are priceless, i screenshotted it for a desktop background

We (already know) that the finished product will be the BEST that will be presented. ~ this ~ after seeing the quality already brought forth by the previous versions.
RL comes (always) first, be it early or late, it doesn’t matter – “IT” – comes first before anything else, prioritize whatever is needed to get things done.

kira: no one else except jisatsu is translating this in english, or.. there is underwater but they haven’t released ni gakki 03 either =/ and i doubt they are even planning on releasing it.
you just have to wait for jisatsu or maybe underwater to release this, like all of us, i know it takes time but we haven’t got any other choise >.<

Thanks seksmeup, your friend did a nice job. But I compared his/her work with Jisatsu’s using the line Rin says during Aoki’s flashback at the beginning of the episode and the part in the episode the flashback was taken from that has Jisatsu’s subs. Jisatsu has the line translated as “I’m gonna win for you Sensei!” But your friend has it translated as “I’ll definitely win for the sake of sensei!” I don’t know japanese so I can’t say which is correct and which isn’t. I think they’re both translated accurately but just worded differently. So I think I’ll use your friend’s subs. But I’m going to need the subtitle file because the quality for the video you provided isn’t very good and I’d like to do my own encode since I’m going to be uploading this for other people to watch. So if you or your friend could provide the subtitle file that would great. And thanks again.

All right, I have seen you guy’s fansub, and I have to say that I am blown away.
Clearly there no longer a reason for us to do anything now that we have this product before us. I highly recommend that this sub get’s properly uploaded and propogated. Perhaps you can shop your subtitle to Daiz so that he can give you a better encode since that’s really the only small complaint I have with the fansub.
Once again. Outstanding work, I tip my hat to you and your friend.

Since they didn’t release the episode in HD, I think a regular encode from the DVD is fine. Unless you are planning an upscale, then in that case, I can’t wait
It’s your sub files that are important; you did an excellent job with the timing on your previous releases, so that it’s possible to merge the sub files and play the actual DVD (I used VLC) at the same time without any text lag.

Hey guys, I was checking animesuki and there’s a claimed release of 2nd term 3rd episode by ‘SubsFuckingWhere’ group.
I am going to check it out to see what the quality is. It’s a new group that started out in February so I don’t know, but it looks like some of their newer releases have traffic.
If possible the page linked in my name should really be updated with a link to the 2nd episode torrent which you guys did a great job on. Then people can continuously watch Doutei’s Kuro+Shiro, your ep 1+2, and then until/if you guys do 3, this other group’s I guess?
SFW have also released this subbed now. All this time waiting and now 2 in the space of a week O_o

they doen kodomo no jikan gakki 3 and their subs are one of the best on the internet, def good enough for archive and in league with shinsen and eclipse and m.3.3.w and db and few others which rule fansubs, i am using this one for archive while first 2 ova’s i am using jiastu.
if these guys do hd then i may reconsider the download but otherwise i am sticking with sfw as they far better than underwater
